Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas Eve, as usual, we went out to McKinney to Uncle Craig and Aunt Katie's house.  Mimi and Papa were there and so was Uncle Ralph, Aunt Cherie, Courtney, Amber, and Collin.  Craig cooked a great dinner and then we enjoyed opening a few gifts and watching the kids play.

Christmas morning we spent at home, just the 3 of us.  Carson was still asleep at 9:30 (he had no idea what the fuss was all about).  Finally, about 10:00 we woke him up because we couldn't stand it anymore.  He walked into the living room, saw the "big truck" filled with Matchbox cars that Santa left for him and that was all he was interested in.  We couldn't get him to look at the tent, the other gifts, or to eat breakfast.  Daddy ended up opening all of Carson's presents.

Christmas afternoon we spent over at Mimi and Papa's for Christmas dinner and more gift giving fun.  Again, Carson opened his first gift, which was a farm with tractor and animals from Aunt Cherie and Uncle Ralph, and he lost interest in everything else.  Mimi also bought baby #2 a cute outfit with a matching cap that we plan on him wearing as his "coming home" outfit from the hospital.  We have had a wonderful year and are so blessed to have such great family and friends!!
