Well, this past week has been filled with lots of ups and downs. Here's my list:- Mom and I are ready for Carson's birthday party - lots of cute monkey stuff - family coming in town - can't wait to celebrate - UP!
- Tile floor was put down and granite counter tops were installed - this was an UP!!!
- The glue they used to install the granite was horrible so we couldn't go near the kitchen for 24 hours - DOWNER.
- All appliances were installed and are now working - UP, UP, UP!!!
- Carson started walking instead of crawling - UP!
- Now that he's walking, he gets into everything and opens every door and drawer he can find - sometimes a DOWNER.
- Carson got the flu - definitely a DOWNER! He started with a cough, runny nose and then his temp went up to 103.
- Had to postpone Carson's birthday party - DOWNER.
- I got to use the "my kid is sick" excuse to stay home from work - UPPER!!
- I got the flu after hanging around Carson all day - DOWNER!!
- We cooked our first meal in the new kitchen - frozen pizzas - UP! (2nd meal was mac and cheese)
- It's rainy and cold outside - DOWN
- We got to use our fireplace for the first time - spent the evening snuggling with Carson - UPPER!!
