On The Move

The "walker" has given Carson lots of new found freedoms and every day we realize that our house is NOT baby proof. We were smart and moved the coffee table in front of the TV so that Carson couldn't pull or knock that over on his little head. Today, he discovered a new plug and thought it was funny to watch mommy run every time he went near it. My question is: How do you use electricity if you can't plug things in? I don't have enough furniture to barricade every wall, plug, appliance, etc.

He is also attracted to our CD collection. This is an old cabinet and the glass door for that middle shelf fell off it's track, so those CD's are unprotected from little fingers.

Even his crib is not safe anymore. He has learned how to pull himself up in the bed and peak his little head over the edge so he can see his dogs below. (It's time to lower the mattress.) He is also working on crawling and can usually get to where he needs to go. (He may roll and scoot a little, but it works.)
