On Thursday night, Carson started running a fever and was sick most of the night. The Dr. said he had his 1st ear infection. By Friday evening, he seemed to be feeling much better. Saturday afternoon Mimi suddenly got very sick - high fever, vomiting, etc. So, we knew the nasty BUG was hitting close to home. Saturday night Chris and I had a nice dinner out at Houston's and we were enjoying our evening with Carson when the BUG hit us. For 2 days, we were both dead to the world. Thank goodness Mimi was feeling better and took care of Carson for us.
I think we are all finally on the road to recovery (knock on wood), but we will be first in line for the flu shots this year.
P.S. (can you add a P.S. on a blog?) Carson decided to take 4 steps (all by himself) over at Mimi's while we were home sick in bed. Thank goodness that wasn't his first steps, but it would have been nice to see it.
