Week 11 has brought a few new changes in Carson. We heard his first actual giggle this week (he giggled at mommy when she was making funny "b" sounds). He has also learned to suck his thumb (although it takes him some work to get just the thumb in there). He is also much more alert and focused. His chattering has increased and now includes some "oohs", "ga-ga's", and "ahs". For the first time, he took his nap without crying (the technical term is that he "self-soothed" himself to sleep). On good nights he is sleeping for 4.5 to 5 hours at night - which means I only have to get up once to feed him. He looks more and more like a little boy and not a baby. He's changing so fast that it's amazing to watch him.

It was so good to finally get to meet Carson. He's a great baby and you're so lucky.
um, love the cool banner!
Self-Soothing is good. Gabriel still has trouble with that. It is so relieving the first time they fall asleep without crying, isn't it?
You have to tell me how you made the banner. It is awesome.
