Our good friend, John, came down from Oklahoma this weekend to meet Carson. As usual, we had a great time with him. He always treats us to a great home-cooked meal. It was the first time anyone has cooked in my kitchen since I got pregnant. John was ready to teach Carson how to climb a tree and how to poke a cat's eyes out with a stick (yes, John will need to be censored when he's around Carson). John also had a great idea of painting our own Christmas ornaments. He made one with Carson's little hand print on it. Just for the record, it's NOT easy getting a 2 month old to let us paint his hand and stick it on an ornament. Chris, as expected, came up with his own spin on what a Christmas ornament should look like. It came out great, but he was very entertaining during the process.
