First Real Haircut

Carson has had a few "home" versions of a haircut.  I try to trim his hair while he watches Dora.  It works, but if he was old enough to go to school the kids would make fun of him.  Chris found a lady who was very patient and willing to give it a try so after dinner one night, when Carson had a full belly and was worn out, we decided to give it a try.

We started out great.  She had cartoons playing and a big bowl of chocolate.  He even let her use the scissors and make one small snip.  It was when she sprayed his hair with water that it quickly turned ugly.

Plan B: Chris will sit and hold him and mommy will bribe him with chocolate (big balls of chocolate) while the hairdresser quickly cut his dry hair (no more spraying water).  Once Carson had the chocolate in his mouth he was ready to battle again.

Plan C:  Chris will hold Carson's hands down, mommy will cover Carson's ears and hold his head still while the hairdresser use the shaver and cuts as fast as she possibly can while Carson cried "no, no mama!".  It was crazy, but he sure got a cute little haircut - makes him look so grown up.
