Our friend John came down for the weekend. He made Carson this neat "mud bug" t-shirt. He used Oklahoma's red dirt to paint the shirt (how creative). We had a great time jumping in the leaves, taking walks, and playing at the park. Chris and John went on a 26 mile bike ride while Carson, Mimi and I did some shopping. John loves to cook so we were nice enough to let him cook us up a serious spread. He made butternut squash soup, a pork dish that was incredible, some stuffed mushrooms, and a rice dish. My favorite was the soup - but it was all edible! I tried to help - just so I could write the recipes down for future use.
