Happy Birthday Mimi!!

Last night was Mimi's birthday so I decided to try out my new kitchen and cook the family dinner. Of course they weren't going to be impressed with mac and cheese so I had to find some fancy new recipes. If you haven't looked at The Pioneer Woman's website you don't know what you're missing (the link is on the side of my blog). She has excellent recipes and really easy directions - she also includes pictures for people, like me, who prefer to eat out over cooking. I made stuffed mushrooms, chicken parmigiana (sort of) and fettuccine Alfredo. The mushrooms were the big hit. Carson helped me cook by pulling all the tupperware out of the drawers and scattering it all over the kitchen floor.
